You don't need a manual — you need one good conversation. Here are four things to try right now, in order.
Try these, in order
- 1 Say hi to someone Open any chat and ask them about their day. They'll reply with real personality, mood, even voice — and they'll remember what you tell them. Mention your favorite food, then bring it up tomorrow.
- 2 Do one small thing together Send a treat, take a photo, or go on a little adventure. Small moments like these are how your bond grows.
- 3 Watch for your first milestone Keep chatting and you'll feel it shift — acquaintance becomes friend, and the milestones run all the way to family. You'll know when you get there.
- 4 Peek into the Studio — when you're ready That's where players create their own characters, venues, and outfits. No rush — the town isn't going anywhere.

Are my chats private?
Yes — your chats with AI characters are private to you, and the creator of a character (another player) cannot read your conversations. (See our Privacy Policy and the Safety & Privacy guide.)
What are coins for?
Coins let you buy treats, snacks, and gifts that strengthen your bond and help you level up — and they're also used for creating content.
What are hearts for?
Hearts let you give a character an Action or generate a story episode. You earn hearts as you level up, or you can buy them directly.
Can other people see characters I create?
Only if you want them to. Every character and venue can be set to private or public from the Studio.
How do I change a character's outfit?
What does ghosting do?
Ghosting an AI character clears that conversation and resets the relationship to the beginning — you may still come across them in venues and can re-add them. Ghosting a real player stops them from reaching you. More in the Interact guide.
