Treats, gifts, and the little tokens that say “I was thinking of you” — here's what coins buy and how to earn more.

The basics

Coins The in-app currency you spend on treats, snacks, gifts, and items that strengthen your relationships — and on creating content.

Hearts Used to give a character an Action or generate a story episode. You earn hearts as you level up, or buy them directly.

Items Other in-app goods you can use across the app, including gifts you send to characters.

Earning & spending coins

How can I earn coins?

You can earn in-game currency by completing tasks in the Tasks Center, inviting friends, and playing the Match-3 mini-games. Keep an eye on the Tasks Center for the current ways to earn.

What do I spend coins on?

Coins go toward treats, snacks, gifts, and items that strengthen your relationships and help you level up. See the Interact guide for ways to use them.

Invite a friend

1 Open the Task Board Tap the Task icon in the top-left corner.
2 Go to Invite Friends Select Invite Friends from the Task Board.
3 Share or enter a code Get your own invite code to share, or enter a friend's code. When a friend joins, both of you can receive rewards.

Refunds

Can I get a refund for coins or a purchase?

All sales of virtual currency and digital items are final, so refunds aren't available. See our Terms of Service for details.

Advanced

Some items unlock more advanced features. The Magic Card package, for example, lets you advance a relationship beyond friend — see the Levels guide for how relationships grow.

Using a Magic Card

How do I use a Magic Card?

To advance a relationship beyond friend with the Magic Card package: tap the character's name to open their profile → Media → tap Accelerate next to the locked relationship level.

How do I use a Magic Card I already own?

If you've bought a Magic Card but haven't used it yet: tap the profile icon (top-right) → Inventory (bottom-left) → find the Magic Card → tap Use.
